 After Care Treatment

  • Do keep hands off the treated area.

  • Do apply ice to the area, if needed.

  • Do apply antibiotic cream (Neosporin, Bacitracin), if needed These medicines are designed to kill bacteria on your skin and prevent infections from cuts and burns. This will help your skin heal even faster, especially facial areas.

  • Do cleanse your skin GENTLY with a mild soap of cleanser

  • Do NOT rub, scratch or squeeze the treated area as this can result in infection or potential scarring.  Avoid similar irritation from using a loofah or abrasive

  • Do NOT apply heavy creams or makeup to the treated area for 24 hours.  If makeup must be applied, use fresh oil-free makeup free of bacterial contamination. Avoid using other strong acids on the skin.

  • Do NOT tweeze, pluck or wax visible hairs, Clipping or shaving is preferred so the hair will be available for removal at the next treatment.  Allow one to three days growth prior to treatment.

  • Do NOT swim in non-chlorinated water or use saunas, hot tubs or other sources of extreme heat for 24 hours following treatment.

  • Do NOT sunbathe or tan for 48 hours unless the treated area is covered. If you must go into the sun, please use sunscreen or hyperpigmentation may occur.

  • Do NOT pick tiny scabs if they appear or scarring may occur. Sensitive skin may exhibit scabbing, which is part of the natural healing process.

  • Do NOT apply any harsh products until skin is fully healed.  This includes perfumes, acne medications, astringents or anything with an alcohol base. These products will dry out your skin and may cause hyperpigmentation. Witch hazel is recommended to cleanse the skin and can be used as a toner.
